If what I am told is true, the JPSU is meant to be a photo-op of a Unit and not expected to really support the ill and injured, but instead to provide the illusion of support for the government to gain popularity. I know this cannot be true and that somehow (I hope) the message has been misrelated to my level by my superiors. I don't know if I can do anymore within the confidentiality I have in place with you, that said our confidentiality will never be compromised and you and all others of the Conservative Government have my word on this. However my correspondences with you have, I regret, not been effective. Although I know you have tried your utmost to support this Unit (the JPSU), I am sorry and depressed to say I think it more efficient if I now turn towards the interests of the media and support of the Loyal Opposition; this is done with a heavy heart and some morose but I think you will understand that it is something I must do, even at the expense of my employment.
