Our goal is to create a newer version of the seismograph with our technology. We plan to accomplish this goal by building a robot that patrols the ocean floor. Globally, earthquakes cause about 63,000 deaths per year. This is because some people dont get a warning in time to get away from the city to escape an earthquake. Some people have probably seen friends and family die in an earthquake. To help stop these deaths, we plan to create a robot that can survive up to deep depths and send signals to a computer that tells seismologists when and where an earthquake will hit. The robot will be a newer version of the seismograph. We plan to save millions of lives that may be lost in future earthquakes. We need to make sure that the Earths population doesnt decline, because that may lead to the extinction of Earth.
