Latest Campbell Poll Shows Significant Lead Chan and Novack Trailing SAN ANTONIO The Donna Campbell Campaign released results today of their latest poll taken January 26-27, 2014. The poll, conducted by Wilson Perkins Allen, shows Donna Campbell with a significant lead. A copy of key findings from the poll are available here. Allen Blakemore, Campbell campaign strategist, said, The opposition simply failed to materialize. With just 27 days until Election Day and only 2 weeks until early voting, Chan and Novak are simply too far back to be able to mount any serious challenge. There is little evidence today that a runoff is likely. Undecided voters continue to break to Campbell. No opponent has become a clear alternative to Campbell, because she has demonstrated her strong conservative record and established herself as a leader in the Texas Senate. Pollster Chris Perkins said, Donna Campbell is in a strong position for the Republican Primary against her challengers. Her exceptionally strong favorability rating and name recognition translates into a commanding 45-point lead. Campbells support is nearly universal throughout the district as she has a majority of support in all areas. By continuing to reach voters in the same fashion as she has been doing, Donna Campbell should be able to clear the Republican Primary without a run-off. ###
