8 Today we will illustrate our understanding of concepts related to infancy and childhood and will begin to explore Eriksons theory. 1. Development - Infancy and Childhood Vocabulary Quiz 2. Adolescence and Social Development (Erikson) - Introduction and explanation of eight levels (using power point slides, clips, and guided notes) - Application activity (create realistic examples of each stage) 3. Erik Erikson: Review (MOVE TO MONDAY) - Using template provided label puzzle pieces (stages, issues, examples). - Cut up puzzle and switch with groups - Put together puzzle based on relationships and write an explanation indicating the organization of the puzzle

Bell Work: Kohlbergs Moral Stages - Heinz Challenge - Introduction and Explanation 2. Development: Social Media Activity - Create a facebook, twitter, or myspace page to illustrate concepts and theories learned throughout the unit on development - Label and color code examples to exhibit understanding

Today we will explore theories related to adolescence and teenage development. 1.Development: Adolescence - Discussion Puzzle 2. Guided Notes 3. Stereotypes and Ages - Using age groups provided (those Erikson labeled) have tables brainstorm the main issue at each stage (compare to Eriksons stages throughout the lecture).
