Blacksburg Man Arrested for Child Internet Crime

Blacksburg, Virginia, February 4, 2014 On February 4, 2014, Members of the Blacksburg Police Department and Fairfax County Police Department executed arrest and search warrants at a residence in the 400 block of Hunt Club Road in reference to an investigation that was initiated by the Fairfax County Police Northern VA Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The resident, 25 year old Marc Christian, was taken into custody without incident on the arrest warrant obtained by Fairfax County Police. Christian has been charged with 18.2-374.3, Use of Electronic Communications Systems to Facilitate Crimes Involving Children. He is currently being held without bond in the MCSO Jail. The investigation is on-going and more charges are possible pending the outcome of the investigation.
