FirstClass Update
The Upper Room and New Heritage FirstClasses are combining . The
class, taught by Lee Zaker, will begin meeting in the West Chapel on
February 10th.

Love & Respect for Newlyweds (and Not So Newlyweds)

This class is no longer just for newlyweds! This brand new FirstClass
begins Sunday, February 10th at 9:00 am and lasts 12 weeks. For

Singles Fun in the Snow at Copper Mountain

Well, February has snuck up on us and so far it’s been a pretty mild
winter. Then I realize that we usually get our biggest snows in March
and April. Oh well, just enjoy the sunshine when you can and get out
that bike (motorized or otherwise) and take a bit of a ride.
Have you purchased your tickets for the Sweetheart (friendship) Ban-
quet this Friday night? Yes, we still have some tickets available and
would love for you to come and help us celebrate together. It’s going
to be a wonderful evening with our own Nazz Jazz along with our
special guest from Branson, Missouri. If you’ve been there, you might
remember him. He is in the “Fabulous 50’s” show and he’s great fun.
And then, there’s the annual Pie Auction supporting youth missions
trips on the evening of the 17th and you never want to miss that
event. And, of course, the Rocky Mountain Praise Choir sponsors an-
other Hymn Sing on Sunday night the 24th.
There’s just SO much going on that it’s hard to keep track of it. Thank
you so much for your faithfulness to your Lord through the ministry of
DFC. May He grant you a wonderful day and a special time of worship
today as we begin a short series of lessons titled: “Five Essentials of
Life.”

Women’s Book Club
We will meet on Feb. 7th at 6:30 pm. We will be discussing the book,
“Thank You Power” by Deborah Norville. Books can be purchased in

Support Group for Caregivers
A monthly support group for those providing care to an aged or
chronically ill loved one, while losing sight of themselves. Meets
Monday, February 11th at 6:30 pm in the Cry Room. Elder care
available on request. For more info, call Linda Case at 303/948-8244.
Singles to Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame
Saturday, February 16th from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Meet in the church
west parking lot. Tickets are $6.00 for adults/$5.00 for seniors. Bring
$5.00 for fuel and $$ for lunch. Call Janie Cline at 720/281-5024 for
more details.
Opportunities to Serve
Are you looking to get connected at DFC? Want to use your gifts to
serve the Lord and His people? Pick up the new 2008 “Opportunities
to Serve” book at the Reception Desk or at the Adult Booth.
Need Valentine’s Day Ideas?
Take your Sweetie to dinner and a movie, or out for coffee and on a
shopping spree. We have gift cards available at the Student Ministries
Booth or at the GL Welcome Center. A percentage of each card goes
to support the youth of DFC. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Kingdom Builders
Come join us Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm for a discipleship
study led by Randy Edwards. This study is for teens and all others are
welcome. Come early at 6:00 pm for dinner before the study.

European Garden you sent. We will enjoy it for a long time. My mom
was a big part of our life. We will miss her a lot. We appreciate
