An action that has a happened at an unspecified time in the past


An action that has happened recently An action that began in the past & continues in the present (usually with for & since) Repetition of an action before now.

Usage
An action that began in the past & continues in the present (usually with for & since) and possibly in the future

Example
I have been looking for him for years.

She has been working there since last year
