Background: This public hearing is being called on the behalf of the numerous residents who have reached out to the 
Board since the June 2009 General Meeting and throughout the summer months who have expressed their frustration 
with numerous quality of life issues throughout the district. In response, Bronx Community Board 7 has invited the 
neighborhood residents, elected officials, and the representatives of various city agencies to hear testimony from the 
public and formulate a constructive dialog with the respective agencies and officials to address these concerns. 
 
*Participants who enroll in advance will be given the opportunity to speak first. To enroll, please send a copy of your 
testimony along with your full contact information (name, address, phone, and organization name) to 
info@BronxCB7.info no later than October 9th by 12 noon. If you do not have access to e‐mail, you may mail your 
testimony to: Bronx Community Board 7, 229A East 204th Street, Bronx, NY 10458 no later than October 7th, 2009. 
 
Please note that the Board reserves the right to limit the number of speakers according to the time allotted for the 
public hearing, but will do its best to accommodate all who wish to provide testimony. If you are interested in 
submitting written testimony and do not intend to speak, you may submit your testimony in writing or via e‐mail up to 
Friday, October 16th, 2009.

Antecedente: Esta audiencia pública se realiza por parte de numerosos residentes, quienes han venido a reuniones 
generales de la junta comunitaria desde junio del 2009 y durante los meses del verano, expresado su frustración 
respecto a numerosos problemas de calidad de vida alrededor del distrito. Como resultado, la junta comunitaria del 
distrito 7 ha invitado a los residentes del vecindario, oficiales electos y representantes de varias agencias para que 
escuchen testimonios del público y formulen un dialogo constructivo con las respectivas agencias y oficiales para 
enfrentar estos asuntos. 
 
Participantes quienes se registren por adelantado se les dará la oportunidad de hablar primero. Para inscribirse, por 
favor de enviar una copia de su testimonio junto con su información de contacto completo (nombre, dirección, teléfono 
y nombre de la organización) a info@bronxcb7.info no más tardar del 9 de octubre al mediodía. Si usted no tiene acceso 
para enviar correo electrónico, puede enviar su testimonio a: Junta Comunitaria del Distrito, 229 A East 204th Street, 
Bronx, NY 10458, a más tardar el 7 de octubre, 2009. 
 
Por favor este avisado que la Junta se reserva el derecho a limitar los números de personas que hablen de acuerdo con 
el tiempo disponible para la audiencia pública, pero haremos lo mejor  por acomodar a todos aquellos que desean 
proveer su testimonio. Si usted está interesado en someter un testimonio escrito y no intenta hablar, puede someter su 
testimonio por escrito o vía email hasta el viernes, 16 de octubre, 2009.
