Effects of Alcohol

Alcohol can mix with lots of different substances from the moment it is consumed. It can travel to any part of the body; meaning it can affect every cell. Some of the effects of alcohol include losing coordination, slurring your speech, and becoming either really friendly or overly aggressive.

How some organs are affected?

Every organ is affected by alcohol. The only difference is how they are affected. The liver for example, if too much alcohol is consumed, will let the extra overflow into the bloodstream. As far as the brain and nerves are concerned, someone who is slightly under the influence will be more giddy and happy because alcohol depresses the nervous systems action.

Getting drunk isnt worth the hangover

After you become drunk, one of the main after effects is the hangover. Some of the more known parts of a hangover are the headaches, pain, and nausea. Delirium is also associated with hangovers. Its when you are in a state of mental confusion that also comes along with hallucinations. You could also have tremors, which will give you extreme shaking.

Long term effects of Alcohol

The long term effects of alcohol are much worse than the short term effects. The heart, pancreas, liver, and brain are only some of the organs that will be affected. Too much alcohol will result in liver disease. If liver disease is to occur then the whole body is going to suffer. You will get high blood pressure. High blood pressure can lead to heart attacks or even strokes.
