Silverdale School Netball Coach Code of Conduct Policy 1.

You agree to display a professional manner with regard to language, preparation, planning and presentation. 2. You agree to encourage effort and skills, this will increase self-esteem and self confidence. 3. You agree to be a role model for the principles of Fairplay and ensure players display the same qualities. 4. You agree to remember that childrens main reason for playing is for fun. 5. You agree to encourage players to show respect for opponents, team members, umpires, officials and spectators. 6. You agree to follow advice of medics when determining if an injured player is ready to resume playing or not. 7. You agree to treat all equally and cater for individual difference based on gender, ethnic origin, religion or ability. 8. You agree to ensure that equipment and facilities meet safety standards and are appropriate to the age and ability of the players. 9. You agree to ensure players enjoy and develop their skills and play by using positive, specific and constructive feedback. 10. You agree to respect the talent, development stage and goals of each player. 11. You agree to commit to increasing knowledge of sound coaching principles and development stages of young children. 12. You agree to be reasonable in demands on players time, energy and enthusiasm. 13. You agree to allow opportunities for players to develop decision making.
