Five months are already gone, five more remain. During this time me and the other volunteers met a lot of new people, saw a lot of new things, and had different challenges to overcome. We had both the good and the bad memories but the important thing is that laugher was there more often that bad feelings. We are a little bit wiser and a little bit more smiling now that we were in the beginning, we got closer to understanding the community we live in and the good sides of the residents of the town. The challenges we had along the way helped us polish the skills we had and made us learn new ones so we can to our job better. Some things still remain. We still dont speak Czech language and we still dont have a lot of the locals with who to spend our free time. Part of this is the language barrier part of this is that there are not a lot of young people our age in the town. Still we got closer to the people we met along the way. And for the language what can I say we started trying really hard recently but it takes time. The journey is still half way ahead of us. We have new challenges ahead but what will they be I have yet to see. The important thing is that in the five months I am here I found my place; I found the inner peace how to build a daily life that I am happy with and I enjoy my days in the small place called Pelhrimov.
