2. The candidate must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (only for Engineers). 3. Candidates are required to submit the followings along with application form: Attested copies of degrees, transcripts, certificates, domicile, CNIC, experience certificate (where applicable) For the post of Professor and Associate Professor two sets of copies of research publications. Postal Order or Bank Draft/ Bank Challan HBL, UET Branch of the value, BPS-2021 Rs. 250/-, BPS-19 Rs. 200/-, BPS-18 Rs. 150/- & BPS-17 Rs. 100/- in favour of the Treasurer, UET Taxila. 4. The candidate applying for more than one post shall submit separate application form for each post with required documents. 5. The UET-Taxila and Government employees are required to apply through proper channel. 6. Age Relaxation may be considered in suitable cases. 7. The University reserves the right not to fill any post/withhold the appointment against any
advertised post without assigning any reason.

Minimum Qualification PhD degree in relevant field, recognized by HEC in consultation with PEC. Experience 15-years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/University or 15-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization out of which 5-years must be teaching experience. OR 10-years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Minimum Number of Publications 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in last five years in HEC/PEC recognized journals. Minimum Qualification PhD in the relevant field from Institution recognized by HEC in consultation with PEC. Experience 10-years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/University or 10-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 2-years must be teaching experience. OR 5-years post PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Minimum Number of Publications 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in last 5 years in HEC/PEC recognized journals. Minimum Qualification a. PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution. b. Masters degree (awarded after 18 years of education) in relevant field till 2010. 30% should be Ph.D.s, after 2012, 60% should be PhDs and by the end of 2015, 100% should be PhDs in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/ Institution Experience a. 1. *The candidate who wish to apply on TTS for the post of Professor & Associate Professor will have to submit his/her application as follows: He/She will submit the application on prescribed form as mentioned in the advertisement. In addition to this he/she will prepare and submit a comprehensive application dossier that includes letters of reference from his/her Ph.D. supervisor as well as others from eminent researchers in his/her area of specialization, and all publications in Internationally Abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission. 2. *The TTS appointments will be made as per Tenure Track Process Statutes available on website of the University/HEC. M.Sc (Hons), Agriculture, Horticulture/Floriculture from HEC recognized institution with five years experience in the relevant field in BS-17 or equivalent and above. Ph.D. in Science or Technology from HEC recognized University/ Institution OR M.Sc/MBA with 05 years of experience working with business and industry or research projects. Knowledge of current models and best practices of University-Industry relations and public-private partnerships; familiarity with issues of technology transfer, intellectual property; and commercialization of University research; experience in dealing with relevant agencies of the Federal, Provincial as well as local government, strong linkages with the local and nationals business and corporate community. B.D.S or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized Medical Institution, with at least three years field experience.

1 class Master in Computer Science/IT with very strong background in statistics (Preferably an M.S in Statistics) from an HEC recognized University/Institution with three years experience in data/information review, analysis, assessment , interpretations, management & reporting knowledge of statistical methodologies as well as full awareness & numerical ability in usage of the latest statistical software.
