The lists of magazines/ blogs show that Spin Media cover a wide variety of genres, from punk to pop. Spin media (formerly known as Buzz net and Buzz Media) is a company and blog network based in Los Angeles. They started as a blog in 1999. It operates over 40 pop culture related websites; it is also the official website for celebrities, such as: Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. However, the company only produces a couple of magazines, including Vibe. I think this is a reason why Spin Media would make a suitable publisher for my magazine, as my magazine would increase the amount of magazines they publish, and the magazines they publish are the same or similar genre to mine, which is beneficial to publishing mine as they have experience with this niche market.
