White River at Sharon
White River at Sharon
This shows nature which one element of his works. It caught my attention because of its cool colors used such as blue and white. This painting is unusual for the movement of the trees, the clouds, and the water lapping up against the rocks. I am interested and curious about the composition of the tree on the rock: leaves and green on one side, dead branches on the other. With careful examination, we can see the unnoticeable brown line. In that frame of thinking, I suggest that perhaps the dead side of the tree points
toward the brown line which can be a railroad track and represents a road to nowhere. A road of inactivity, which leads to death.
