Progeria

What is it?
disorder that causes children to age rapidly, beginning in their first two years of life.

What causes it?


A protein that is defected called Lamin A makes the nucleus unstable. Which leads to premature ageing.

Signs of Progeria
Growth failure Loss of hair Skin looks aged No teeth No eye lashes Stiffness in joints

Whose in risk?
The ones that have a risk are the ones with mutation on there gene.

1 and 4-8 million newborns have it.

How its diagnosed


The specific genetic change, or mutation, in the Progeria gene that leads to HGPS may now be examined.

Treatment
There's no treatment for this dieses.

Long-term affect
There really isn't besides the longest you will live is till the age of 13.

How to prevent?
There's none it is a disease that doesn't happen often.
