Mold Prevention and Removal, Tuesday March 25
A year after Sandy, mold continues to pose a significant challenge to public health and to full recovery from the storm. Mold hazards in buildings will continue to be an issue on Long Island in normal times as well as after disasters. Join us for this comprehensive workshop on mold hazards in buildings. It will include lessons learned from Katrina, Sandy and other flood-related disasters, best protections for workers and residents, and best practices for getting and keeping mold infestations out of buildings.
Workers, health professionals and others concerned about or involved with indoor air quality issues. Individuals and organizations involved in any recovery work or in work associated with Sandy especially demolition, renovation and rebuilding as well as those who anticipate being involved in disaster recovery in the future.
