Paris2Nice is a not-for-prot organisation providing infrastructure and support to enable individuals and charities to participate in an annual organized cycling challenge from Paris to Nice. Paris2Nice is designed to be unlike other charity events. We want the experience of Paris2Nice to be an extraordinary life changing event for each participant. Our aim is... to challenge their pre-conception of how much money they can fundraise to challenge their perception of their tness and cycling ability to witness the benets of their fundraising efforts after the event to evangelise the experience of Paris2Nice for future years.

Starting on Saturday September 20th, riders will set out from Paris arriving six days later in Nice. Day 1: Paris to Montargis 130km
We cycle out of Paris along a dedicated cycle route cycling through small villages. Our destination is Montargis, nicknamed the Venice of Gatinais owing to its 131 bridges.

Whats included in the entry fee?

All logisitics in France, which are managed by a professional cycle touring company 7 nights accommodation including Friday night in Paris and Thursday night in Nice Bike transfer from Dublin to Paris and Nice to Dublin Baggage transfer each day to the next hotel All meals including a welcome dinner in Paris and a celebratory dinner in Nice. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks each day of the cycle Logistical support cycle guides, mechanics, safety vehicles.

Day 2: Montargis to Bourges 135km


The cycle brings us straight to the Loire valley, a UNESCO world heritage location. Our destination is Bourges, a very beautiful city with half-timbered houses on old streets.

Day 3: Bourges to Vaison La Romaine 60km


We transfer by bus in the morning from Bourges to Montelimar then cycle to Vaison in the heart of the Rhone valley. The landscape is more rolling, which affords some great vistas of the surrounding countryside.

Day 4: Vaison-la-Romaine to Aix-en-provence 120km


The route will pass Chateneuf-du-Pape and some of Frances most famous vineyards. As the terrain will be hilly this will be a challenging day. For more experienced cyclists an option will be available to conquer the 25km ascent of Mont Ventoux, the peak of which is 1,900m above sea level.

Spectacular scenery will guide us through the Aix region, leading us to the Roman city of Draguignan.

Day 6: Draguigan to Nice 110km


Our nal day brings us to the Mediterranean, passing through Antibes and Cannes, following the sea to the beautiful city of Nice. We have a nal celebratory reception and dinner in Nice.

Paris2Nice will challenge your tness, provide great social experiences and motivate you to fundraise beyond your imagination to change the lives of others less fortunate. Totaling just over 700km in 6 days, the cycle is designed with all abilities and ages in mind. Previously, Paris2Nice participants have ranged in ages, tness levels and cycling experience. Along with many t people and cyclists, many others were older, unt or had no cycling experience. With regular and gradual training and the support of the team, we guarantee you will not only complete the challenge but love the experience too.
