Jane Evelyn Atwood will be exhibiting photographs taken during trips to Haiti between 2005 and 2007 at Lane Hall Exhibit Space from October 5-9, 2009 from 8am to 5pm. The photographs were taken in various locations throughout Haiti and document Atwood's desire to photograph the country in depth after an initial assignment there in 2005. “I asked to go to Haiti for an assignment in 2005 - but that first
trip was not enough. I needed to photograph Haiti in depth, for myself. These pictures were taken in Haiti between 2005 and 2007, in Gonaives, Jeremy, Port-de-Paix, Anse Rouge, Fatima la Coupe, La Pointe, Anse a Foleur, Sainte Anne, Chansolme, Saint- Louis du Nord, Sources Chaudes, et Bassin Bleu.”
