Proposal for painting and photography competition for Junior and senior school: Junior school Event: Painting

competition Participants: 1 6th grade Theme: Go Green Description of the event: Participants will be given three topics from which they will have to choose one and paint a picture. Paper would be provided but drawing tools have to be brought from home. Students are allowed to use any artistic tool and the drawing can be made in any medium. Time and date: The event will take place on a date after Founders, tentatively on 21 December, in the 7th and 8th periods. Participants will be given an hour to finish their paintings. The best paintings will be hung on the railing outside the MPH using wooden clothespins. Senior School Event: photography competition Participants: 7 12th grade Theme: Our Environment Description: Participants are asked to take pictures of the environment surrounding them in an effort to showcase both the good and bad aspects of the environment. A minimum of two pictures depicting environmental degradation as well as the beauty of nature is required. A maximum of 5 pictures per participant will be allowed. The pictures can be submitted in three ways: uploaded on the Facebook page Green Rangers, given in hard copy to Mohseena maam or emailed to the green rangers ID. The best pictures will be displayed in a photo exhibition in the atrium. Time: 12th to 19th December.
