To live in the world without becoming aware of the meaning of the world is like wandering about in a great library

without touching the books.

Dan Brown, The Lost Symbol

One month ago, I have finished reading Dan Browns The Lost Symbol. Despite the fact that I have never read a book on my initiative alone, this summer I spotted on my bookshelf Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. My mother said it is a nice thrilling lecture, and since I have already watched the movie I decided I should give it a go and so, I started reading the book. All I can say is that I couldnt let the book out of my hands. I have read it with such pleasure that, after 5 days, I finished reading it and suddenly I got sad because I did not have any other Dan Brown book at home. With my desire to read another novel of the same author, I went to the library and I borrowed The Digital Fortress, another thrilling lecture, in which a group of elite code-breakers received an unbreakable code. I found myself in a reading-spree and few days after I finished reading The Digital Fortress, I took up another Dan Brown novel, The Lost Symbol. From these books I have also learned about some secret societies and every book that has Robert Langdon as it main character are based on stories of these societies. Angels and Demons presented The Illuminati, The Da Vinci Code presented The Templars, The Lost Symbol presented The Freemasonry and, from what I have heard, the last book of the series, Inferno, is based on Dantes Inferno. I recommended Dan Brown to all of my friends and I was excited to find out that they have listened to my advice. I enjoyed reading Dan Brown as his novels do have a seed of truth inside their plot and I plan now to read Inferno and Deception Point.
