IDEAL DIABETIC LUNCH AND EXERCISE


Diet:
3 meals daily Snacks between meals 15 servings of carbohydrates

A healthy lunch:

1 serving of protein
4 servings of carbohydrates 1 vegetable or salad

SURVEY RESULTS
8 diabetics, ages 14-17, 6 females, 2 males
3 buy lunch, 5 pack lunch 1 student could easily access nutritional values in cafeteria, 4 could not, 3 were unsure

6 could only purchase water from vending machines


1 believed vending machines had healthy options
