    EE328 POWER ELECTRONICS Semester Projects, 2012

    Rules of the project: Each project group should consist of exactly 5 students. The project groups may choose one of the projects listed below, or can propose a new one. Project final report must include the followings; o An introduction section which gives brief information about the topic of the project o Details on the design requirements and input/output parameters o Details about the analytical design of the project o Simulation and experimental results o Comparison and interpretation of the results o Conclusion A demonstration of all projects will be done at the last laboratory week.

Project #2: Four quadrant speed control of permanent magnet 12V DC MOTOR Project #3: DC/DC switching converter design (using mosfet): 15VDC input/ 0~15V DC adjustable output, 15W Project #4: DC/AC inverter design (using mosfet): 24 VDC input/ 12Vrms, 50Hz output, 24VA.
