org February 16, 2014 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter in support of Christopher Nation. I have known Mr. Nation for over two years. I first met him when I began working for the San Diego County Office of Education as one of their court and community school teachers. Mr. Nation attended my program for almost a year at The Technology Academy at the countys office. Mr. Nation was a wonderful addition to our classroom. He was vital in our transition to focus more on the utilizing technology in the classroom. Mr. Nation was part of the first group use Google Docs and blogging to share his ideas and writing with his class as well as myself. He is a very fast learner and became one of our more tech-savvy students. In my class, Mr. Nation got along well with others and was great at offering feedback during my assessments to help drive instruction. He showed strong determination to improve academically and transfer back to his district school. He thrived in a projectbased learning environment where he was able to conceive an idea or approach to a lesson and execute it. Mr. Nation also developed strong leadership skills in my class that I feel he continues to use long after he has left my program. Mr. Nation would be an asset to any trade school or college campus. He continues to grow as a student and individual and can make a positive impact on those around him.
