    Teacher Notes It has been a busy week before Thanksgiving! In math, the students learned how to model division using Base 10 blocks and began learning how to solve division problems using the area model. In ELA, the students learned about prepositions, worked on a group project for Holes, and began writing their Holes compare and contrast essay. The students have also been working very hard to prepare for their student-led parent-teacher conferences. We look forward to seeing you there! On Monday, firefighters from Spring Grove will be going to Washington, IL to help victims of the tornados that hit last weekend. They are collecting canned goods to bring. Any little bit helps, so if you are willing to send your student with a canned good tomorrow (Friday), we will get these to the firefighters.
