What are the 3 classes of levers? What are you counting when you need to find the amount of faces of a 3-D shape? Edges? Vertices?
Teacher Notes
What a great first week back from Thanksgiving break! We have jumped into new units in all subject areas. In math, the students started learning about volume of 3-D shapes. In social studies, the students are learning about European explorers, specifically Christopher Columbus. In science, the students learned about the three classes of levers. In ELA, the students learned about Readers Theater and have begun practicing The Nutcracker play that they will be performing next week. The students will be assigned 1-minute multiplication tests for homework several times a week until winter break. Please ensure that your child is taking these tests and continue practicing math facts with them! ___% of goal completed REMINDERS 12-09: Fundraiser at Antioch Pizza 12-10: PTO Meeting (7pm) 12-11: Field trip to see The Nutcracker (8am-12:30pm) 12-12: Spirit Assembly Board of Education Meeting (7pm) 12-13: PTO Holiday House (5pm)
