    The Sri Lankan stock market ended its sixth consecutive day in the red, with large cap stocks declining. The All Share Price Index (ASPI) fell 0.5% and S&P SL20 fell 0.74%. Foreign investors were net sellers of stocks. Several sectors performed poorly, including footwear and textiles (-3.95%), stores and supplies (-2.73%), and plantations (-1.29%). However, the information technology (+1.96%), oil palms (+1.78%), and constructions and engineering (+0.86%) sectors saw gains. The rupee also ended slightly lower against the US dollar.
