Prosperous Isle: Prince Edward

Copyright Joseph Markenstein February 20, 2014

Now mine hour Prospero Is Markenstein, first name Joe. On mine isle and mine honor I do bequeath sword and armor; As swords to plows and spears to hooks And take a cape and a book, Be a Don by hook or by crook, Make me a king but never look! Prosperous Prospero makes His deviled eggs like a cake; He splashes a sprig of one, Then another thing. When hes done, Its a marvelous magpie Who touts a stout flout: mud in the eye! Sty Me, in mine island fine, Buy Me a ring to plumb the line; Porthole to the place beyond skies, Now makes the enemy only Distractions from prayers said daily; Refractions of light bent sunny. (Vale)
Written after finishing The Tempest by Shakespearethis is fashioned after his Epilogue.
