Interim Committee to Study Issues Related to Pinnacol

Assurance. Requires the board of directors of Pinnacol Assurance to
charge less, pay more, and direct employees of Pinnacol Assurance to not
ask injured workers difficult questions.

1 SECTION 1. 8-45-101 (5), Colorado Revised Statutes, is

2 amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW PARAGRAPH to read:

3 8-45-101. Pinnacol Assurance - creation - powers and duties.

4 (5) The board shall:

5 (m) C HARGE LESS, PAY MORE, AND DIRECT EMPLOYEES OF

6 P INNACOL A SSURANCE TO NOT ASK INJURED WORKERS DIFFICULT

7 QUESTIONS.

8 SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds,

9 determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate

10 preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
