like Mrs. Cynthia had given me a key that unlocked my limitations.

I wanted to sculpt, paint, draw, design, and invent fearlessly. Being a Generation Y Google baby makes you think you have an external brain with access to unlimited data; but, in contrast, if you dont have the revelation of discipline, it creates chaotic laziness. I was hired by a corporation (locally based) three months before I actually graduated from college. My current job requires me to be multifaceted with my artistic and technical skills. I design, develop, and render baby products. I have even been given the task to be a direct, shoot, and edit commercials for the company. After working at my regular job, in the evenings I do commissioned oil portraits, and sculpt my whimsical original creatures all named Harold. The Harold helped sustain me financially when I was in college. It is a harmless, creepy, collected creation of the same face but with different expressions. Many people that have seen my body of work in galleries have told me that my art is a rigid dichotomy of surreal and lifelike. Sculpting allows me to playfully explore my childhood visions and painting presents technical challenges that I can master as I mature. These two artistic extremes contrast one-another to define who I am
