The North Star Group

L. Londell McMillan is a lawyer/publisher; he is the main owner and publisher of vibe magazine, and works alongside the company north star group. North Star group specialize in creating hip hop culture and fashion magazines. Their main target audience is teenager to young adults, but they do have specialist issues aimed at the older generations such as politics issue. North Star group is an appropriate publisher for the genre I have chosen because they specialize in this section and my target audience. They already produce magazine very similar to what I would like to produce and I think this will help as they know what the readers want in a hip hop magazine.
