MS Excel provides a set of working environments that are designed for specific worksheet tasks. Each working environment can be accessed or displayed by clicking one of the view options. These options are: Normal Page Layout Page Break Preview Custom View Full Screen View Zooming is a technique which allows you to reduce or enlarge the view of the data displayed on the screen. Panning is a technique which allows you to move or scroll the display on the screen without moving the cell pointer.

Zoom Group, located on the View tab, contains controls for changing the zoom level of the current view, these are represented by percentage.

Cell Pointer is a pointer used to indicate the active cell.
