March 2-8 is National Severe Weather Preparedness Week.

During that week, NWS, along with FEMA and all our other partners will be sharing information to help get people ready for the busy spring storm season ahead. NWS HQ has created a website with resources and information that you can use next week: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/com/weatherreadynation/severe.html There are graphics, links, images and brand new tornado safety videos that you are free to use and share as you see fit. We will posting information all week long on Facebook and Twitter, and you are welcome and encouraged to share or borrow anything we have.
