We have had a very productive 4-day week! In math, the students continued working with mixed numbers by adding and subtracting them. In social studies, the students continued learning about the original colonies and took a quiz on the last 6 colonies. In science, the students continued to learn about the process of photosynthesis in plants. In ELA, the students learned about onomatopoeias and continued reading Number the Stars in their novel study groups. Students also chose an Olympian to write a bio about. This bio will be due this Monday, February 24th. Please note: the students will be going to the YMCA tomorrow during gym for their swim unit. Please make sure your child is prepared with a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. In addition, Mr. Cohn is starting Lego Club at Emmons.
