I have researched Alesha Dixon’s CD album , I have noticed the title of the
album links to her first song on the album, this shows that the title of the CD
does matter and relate somehow within her music. The album name also
relates to the photograph which is portraying quite a theme of a show.

I have researched into the song titles of Alesha Dixon’s music. The song
‘Cinderella Shoe’ has connotations of escapism; it can be thought of as if
she is escaping into a fairytale, this again can link to her album name as
she may suggest the idea of ‘The Alesha Show ‘being like a great big idea.
Although the song ‘ Breathe Slow’ can be thought to be a little more serious
as of the lyrics within this song, along with the tone in which she is singing
in . The song ‘ Italians Do It Better’ can be thought of as an enigma code ,
as the consumer will think what is Alesha trying to portray with this song
title , and they will wonder what exactly can Italians do better? .
The song ‘Play Me’ can also be thought to link towards her album cover
name as she is referring to herself as if she is a toy, this can be further
explained by the photograph on her front cover as she is portraying the
idea of the male gaze , as of her clothing .
