    Poverty is a vile disease of society. It is a plague that hinders progress in our nation and causes people to live in suffering. Poverty is the reason why some children live in filth and walk around in tattered clothing. It is the reason for families going to bed starving as they have nothing to fill their stomachs. It is the reason why some people live their whole lives in pain and why some die without even discovering a life of ease and happiness. In this anthology, we hope to give you a glimpse of the harsh realities of poverty. Realities which ends in both tragedy and emancipation from the burden of poverty. As a reader, may these stories touch your hearts and learn proper human values so that may this world a better place. We wish you the best of luck in life and have a nice day.
