The story starts at Cathys house after a party was held there.

Richard, Matt and Cathy were still staying while indulging themselves in some alcoholic drinks and cigarettes and talking about television shows. The conversation suddenly veered into a more serious one when the three friends started talking about their life when they were a lot younger. Life seemed trouble free and they were easygoing and devil may care !uveniles back then. "hen one of them asked what they wanted to happen with their lives, Richards mood changed, as it was plain to see that he was not ready to be asked and to answer #uestions like that. The #uick shifting of his mood left him no choice but to admit to his friends his current status. $e was asked to take a random drug test conducted by his employer and he feared that the result would turn out positive since he is dependent on mari!uana. $e consulted the advice of his friends. %ut the advices didnt seem to have opened his mind as he lit up a !oint in front of his friends. $e drowned his gloomy thoughts into the figments of imagination brought about by the substance. $e then received a te&t from the $R of the company that gave him a teeny bit of hope. %ut that hope was crushed when he went back to reality in the morning.
