    Please join Stand Up! for Democracy in DC (Free DC) and ! the DC Statehood Coalition for a nonpartisan candidates forum focusing on one of the most critical human and civil rights issues facing the residents of Washington DC

    DC Statehood and full citizenship rights!


    All ballot certified candidates running for the offices of Mayor, U.S. Delegate, United States Senator and U.S. Representative will be invited to state exactly what they plan to do to make true democracy a reality in the nation's capital. Will they help lead the movement to make DC the 51st state in the United States of America? This will be your opportunity to hear directly from them. ! It will be up to you to decide which candidates will get your support!
