SCHOOL COUNSELING CORE CURRICULUM ACTION PLAN

By the end of quarter 4 sophomores will be able to explain their top career cluster and list two careers of interest as well as the education required for each. Increase the percentage of students who are on-track for graduation from 45% to 55%.

First lesson will be on April 8th during advisor y and the second lesson will be on April 15th during advisor y

This lesson will be presented to the 100% of the sophomore class in groups of 20-30 during advisory. (111 Students)

90% of the sophomore class can name two interests categories that best describe themselves, two work values that best describe themselves. the career cluster that best describe themselves.

Decrease the number of students failing one or more classes from 30% to 20% due to increased understanding of paths to post-secondary success.
