Our training and guidelines follow the new teacher center program. Work with math and literacy leaders at the elementary to establish the best ways to support a new teacher interventionist Attended parent meeting about general school happenings and assisted with Ankeny High School students job shadowing for the day. Chaired book fair. Arranged books according to topics and reading levels based on Scholastic organization. Allow small children to pre-selected and record books they want their parents to purchase. Spoke with parents and teachers about a student in need to more extensive services.
