    ANNOUNCEMENT The Office of Student Enrollment and Placement has officially opened the High School Application Process.

    All High School Application materials must be completed by March, 4, 2014 and we are providing this reminder to help with your planning. Every 8th grade student participates in the high school application process. Students with IEPs, Chapter 15/504 Service Agreements, and English Language Learners (ELLs) must be provided with equal opportunities to participate in the High School Application Process and entrance requirements or criteria must be considered and possibly waived for an applicant. This is referred to by school teams as the Legare requirements. For 8th grade students with IEPs, Chapter 15/504 Service Agreements and English Language Learners, your childs School Based Team should be assisting you with the HS Application Process and you should request a team meeting to review your childs High School Application particularly if any of the schools have admission criteria. Please plan to attend the Philly High School Fair on November 16th at Drexel University 33rd and Market (the ArmoryDrexel) from 9am-5pm The Office of Specialized Services and your childs School Based Team are here to support you and your child with this important process.
