What did I learn in this course? I learned that an interdisciplinary study is about integrating disciplinary knowledge, it is a process, it is a theory and its an academic curriculum. (2)How did I learn what I learned? I learned from reading the text book as well as researching on the internet and doing my lessons. (3)I learned what I learned best when...when I did the research and concept maps, I was able to see and understand it visual, thats when I learned the most about interdisciplinary studies, because it helped me break it down and get a better understanding. I was able to organized ideas relating to a particular topic. (4)This information first helps me to learn and apply it to the way my life was and how it turns out. I realize that a major part of interdisciplinary starts with by the influence of culture, social and language. I will be able- to target a problem at an early stage by knowing the major components and characteristics of interdisciplinary. I would be able to share what I have learn about interdisciplinary with the youth in the mentoring program I assist with in the community I grew up in, I will show them how the impact of socialization and communication skill is a core value in the way they receive certain things.
