Attempted murder suspect arrested
A man who fired shots at his two girlfriends after they confronted him about his infidelity was arrested Tuesday in the 2600 block of North Seacrest Boulevard. Patrick Anthony Maxwell, 44, is charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder with a firearm. He is in the Palm Beach County Jail. After being confronted by his two girlfriends outside a house on Northeast Fourth Court on Monday morning, Maxwell fired two shots at them and another person. He was seen running across the street and it was believed that he barricaded himself inside another house on the street. Acting upon witness information that an armed gunman was barricaded inside a house, the Boynton Beach Police Department SWAT team made entry and secured it. Maxwell was not located. The Boynton Beach Police Department thanks the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force for their assistance in locating Maxwell.
