By the End of the Unit: Students will name and recognize fractions including halves, fourth, eighths, thirds, sixths, and twelfths Students will recognize equivalent fractions with same and different denominators Students will compare fractions with same and different denominators Students will order fractions with same and different denominators Students will recognize the difference between and mixed numbers and improper fractions Students will convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and vice versa
