This class is for groups of school teachers, staff or parents who will tie garden learning to the classroom and food to the cafeteria.
Build gardening skills, Get Minnesota standards curricula and Plan an educational garden
This is a great course for every gardener-to-be, all grade levels, and existing or new school gardens. Gain continuing education hours while you connect to other schools and build your skill set for a fantastic garden.
DATE: April 19th and April 26th PLACE: Discovery Elementary School District Office Classroom 301 2nd Ave NE Buffalo, MN 55313 TIME: 9:00am 2:00pm COST: $20/person $60/group of 3-5 *Each school is asked to send at least 3 people*

Wright County Public Health and Live Wright have funds available to schools who are interested in building a school garden that is integrated into the school setting; food service, curriculum, etc Under the Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) grant, up to $3,500 will be available to each school that completes the School Garden 101 workshop and works with us to create their schoolyard garden.
