Furthermore in comparison, the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo are both electronic. In the end, these are some things the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis have in common. ! ! ! spite of their similarities, the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo both have different nicknames. The Sega Genesis can also be called the mega drive, and the Super Nintendo can be called the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), or the Super Famicom. On a different note, they where both released at different times. The Super Nintendo was released September 1st, 1991, seven years after the Sega Genesis was released. The Sega Genesis was released 1989. However, the systems were not made by the same company. To sum it all up, the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo don't have much in common.
