NATO
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization it is an intergovernmental military alliance based on the North Atlantic Treaty signed April 4,1949. Established three years after the Cold War It promotes democratic value and encourages consultation and on defense and security issues to build trust and prevent conflict. NATO is dedicated to the peaceful resolution of disagreements. If diplomatic efforts fail, it has the military capacity needed to undertake crisismanagement operations.

Warsaw Pact
The Warsaw pact was established on May 14, 1955. a mutual defense organization that put the Soviets in command of the armed forces of the member states The Warsaw Pact remained intact until 1991 Albania was expelled in 1962 because they thought that Russia was straying away from what they originally signed on for. Today, Albania is now a participant of NATO
