    GRADING SYSTEM OF HANOI LAW UNIVERSITY

    I.

    Subjects grading method 1. Subject grades are marked on a 10 point scale (0 to 10), rounded to a decimal digit. 2. Subject grades are then converted into letters scale as following: A (8.5 10) Excellent B+ (7.5 8.4) Good + B (6.5 7.4) Good C (5.5 6.4) Average D (4.5 5.4) Weak F (Below 4.4) Poor Method of calculation of Grade Point Average 1. In order to calculate the cumulative Grade Point Average, the letter score of each subject is converted into number score as following: A equals to 4 B+ equals to 3.5 B equals to 3 C equals to 2 D equals to 1 F equals to 0 2. Semester Grade Point Average and cumulative Grade Point Average is calculated by the following formula and rounded to 2 decimal digits. In which: A is Semester Grade Point Average or Cumulative Grade Point Average ai is score of subject No. i ni is the amount of credits of subject No. i n is the total amount of credits
