    1. General Updates
    Gerry LePage welcomed all attendees and turned over the meeting to Jeff
    Keays, as SEAT requires a basic logistical plan. Jeff noted that we need to
    submit the basic road closures, concessions and activities so that he may
    present a simplistic map to SEAT so that preparations can commence.
    2. Logistical Map (Interim Placements)
    The committee discussed the current event wish list and separated the
    closed area into three sectors: Laurier to Lisgar (herein after referred to as
    North), Cooper to MacLaren (herein after referred to as Central), and Gilmour
    to Gladstone (herein after referred to as South).
    It was determined that the main staging area and VIP bathroom trailer will be
    positioned in the North Section along with the old-fashioned police car and
    fire truck. The main childrens activities such as bouncers, slides and
    activities will be dispersed between the North and Central sections.
    The Central Section will be utilized by the Village and Pride Ottawa for
    fundraising and, in part, the Village will assume the costs involved in the
    Outdoor Cinema component of the days activities.
    The South Section will consist of the teen zone with activities such as
    Extreme Skateboarding and BMX, buskers, and live band.
    Meg McCallum suggested researching highlander dancers to take to the main
    stage after the official ceremony with the Mayor is complete.
