    MOUNT PROSPECT POLICE SEEK ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING OFFENDER IN BATTERY

    The Mount Prospect Police is asking for the publics help in identifying an offender involved in the battery of a 22 year old woman. On February 12, 2014, the male offender (sketch above) approached the victim outside of Mail Box Plus, 1516 N Elmhurst Road, and asked her out on a date. After the female victim turned the offender down, he reached out and inappropriately touched the victim. The victim pushed the offender away and he left the area in a black colored four door vehicle. The offender is described as a male, possibly Middle Eastern, approximately 50-60 years old, 505, 150 lbs. medium build with a protruding stomach. He has dark hair and is balding. The offender also was described as leaning back and to the right when he walked. The Mount Prospect Police Department continues to investigate this incident and anyone with information regarding this crime or who recognizes this offender is asked to call the Mount Prospect Police Departments Investigations Section at 847 -870-5654.
