Dear All Good Evening In view of the visit of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Hon.

Former President of India, to our campus on 26-2-2014, as instructed by the Police, certain security arrangements are made in the campus. I wish to bring the following points to the kind attention and adherence of all faculty, staff and students for the smooth and safe visit of our former president to our campus. 1. Faculty and staff who have registered are requested to be in their seats in BARN Hall by 5:30 P.M. on 26-2-2014 .The entry point to the BARN Hall will be on the eastern side of the BARN Hall on the road to Lecture Hall Complex after passing through the security check. 2. All are requested to possess ID Cards while presenting the Pass to the security personnel at the entry point. 3. Entry to A-13, A-11 and A-12 will be through the back door of A-13 Hall only. (Viewing on big screen TV) 4. Entry to A-2 Hall will be through back door of A-2 Hall only. (Viewing on big screen TV) 5. Water bottles, cell phones, camera, handy cam, books, eatables, laptops, shoulder bags, and any other solid items and electronic gadgets will not be permitted inside the halls. If brought to the security check in point, these items will be removed by the security before allowing inside. Security persons will not take care of any of these items for return. 6. Exit from the BARN Hall will be allowed only after the departure of the Chief Guest from the campus. 7. All the officials working in various sections in the Administrative Block are requested to leave the office before 5:30 P.M. after the working hours. 8. All the two wheelers and four wheelers are to be parked either in the chemical engineering and CEESAT area or in the front bay of EEE Department. No vehicle is allowed to park in Administrative Zone from 8 :30 A.M. onwards on 26-2-2014. 9. No outward vehicular movement is allowed at the Main Gate from 5:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Vehicle entry into the campus is allowed for invitees only during this period. 10. All the faculty and staff are requested to possess ID cards on 26-2-2014.
